ABOUT THE $15K SYSTEM

This $15K system stands out because of the perfect compatibility and the insane VALUE of its two key components ... the Swedish QLN Sonora loudspeaker and the KORA Square-Tube Class A  Electronics, in this case the beautifully built, super classy KORA TB140 70W integrated amplifier.

These electronics deliver just about everything one would need when paired with the 92dB efficient QLN Sonora.

Our latest "sweetheart" DAC, the Swiss MERASON Frerot is another "blockbuster" component, and at it's humble price of $1,349 it also offers balanced outputs. For this system we included their POW-1 Linear PSU upgrade which takes the sonics to yet a more stupendous level. Read more about our awesome experiences with this DAC on our website's Merason Frerot page.

Finally, we incorporated one of the finest Music Servers available in this price class - the INNUOS Zen MK3. Not only is this ROON / UPNP server incredibly easy to set-up and use, it is blissfully musical, throwing a huge and super-quiet soundstage and all the detail retrieval one can possibly expect.... The INNUOS servers are truly exceptional front ends. We incorporate these into almost all of our systems.

This system is suitable for rooms from a minimum size of 15ft x 20 ft, and up to about 20ft x 30ft.

Sound characteristics ? POWERFUL ! ... if asked, GENTLE and delicate when required. This system will do vocals beautifully, but if you listen to Large Classical Orchestral, Rock or Heavy Metal your will not be "disappointed". The system delivers an Uber-confident Assertiveness without the Nasties ...smile :=)

BTW, the QLN Sonoras, at 66 lbs each, are relatively "LIGHT". So, these are really quite easy to position properly in your listening environment.

An alternative System for $2,000 more ... A system at ~ $17K ? :

Here, we'd swap out the Square-tube topology KORA TB140 for the $7,250 Pass Labs INT25 Integrated amplifier delivering 25W in pure Class A, which is till plenty of power for the efficient QLN Sonora ... the PASS amp notably puts out a boatload of current !
